• In short, all the exam questions on both Paper 1 and Paper 2
• Paper 1: comprehension, use of language, summary, short response task
• Paper 2: narrative writing, descriptive writing, directed writing

• Two live lessons with me per week, one hour each, hosted on Teams
• All live lessons will be recorded and shared after class in case you can’t attend or wish to review
• One piece of marked exam practice per week to be completed in your own time (if you select Gold 550 GBP option)

• Experienced teacher of English Language and Literature for students in Years 7 – 13
• Eight years of working as an IGCSE and A Level English examiner

• Understanding of how to give targeted and meaningful feedback that drives student improvement

This masterclass is only for students. Adults — including parents and teachers — are not permitted to participate.

Parents are, however, welcome to be in the room (off-camera) if they wish to observe quietly.

All students will be asked to turn their cameras on at the start of the session so I can confirm that participants are high-school students.

Yes please! I do request cameras on because it creates a better classroom environment and helps me to see when students might not understand what’s going on.

Live lessons begin on February 23rd, so the first lesson recording will be available from about 5pm GMT on the 23rd.
