• If HL students join the class, I can also offer advice on the HL Essay

• One live lessons with me per week, one hour each, hosted on Teams
• All live lessons will be recorded and shared after class in case you can’t attend or wish to review

All group classes will be recorded so students can watch the lesson in their own time. Students are free to contact me to ask clarifying questions.

Each group class will begin with a student voice survey, so I can understand students’ strengths and weaknesses, tailoring my lessons to their requests.

There will be regular student votes to decide what content we will cover.

Yes, Year 1 and Year 2 IBDP are both welcome to join the class. The lessons are skills-based, so would be equally relevant for any student currently studying IB English.

I aim to have approximately 4-6 students per group class. This might be slightly more or slightly less depending on demand.

Parents will pay monthly at the start of the month for that month’s classes. Payments can be made in any currency. Alipay, WeChat, Mastercard and Visa are all accepted.

Each month’s fees must be pre-paid in advance.

The first month’s payment is taken as a non-refundable deposit.

After the first month, if you wish to cancel pre-paid classes, you will receive a 50% refund of any unused classes.

If a student is sick or unable to attend a single class, no refund will be given. Lessons are recorded for the student’s convenience so they are able to catch up when they are able.

Yes, both HL and SL students can join this class!

Both HL and SL students sit the same exam papers.

The only difference is that HL students will…

• Complete a HL Essay (1,500 word literary essay internal assessment)
• Do both texts on Paper 1

Therefore the skills, requirements and exam strategy for both HL and SL students is exactly the same. HL students just read more texts and have to write two extra essays.
