• In short, all the exam questions on both Paper 1 and Paper 2
• Paper 1: short answer questions, summary writing, vocabulary questions, writer’s effect, extended response

• One live lessons with me per week, one hour each, hosted on Teams
• All live lessons will be recorded and shared after class in case you can’t attend or wish to review

All group classes will be recorded so students can watch the lesson in their own time. Students are free to contact me to ask clarifying questions.

Each group class will begin with a student voice survey, so I can understand students’ strengths and weaknesses, tailoring my lessons to their requests.

There will be regular student votes to decide what content we will cover.

Yes, students who have just begun the two-year IGCSE course are welcome to join! If the student wishes to continue with me for the full two years, I can adjust the practice tasks for the second year to ensure all exam practices are new.

I aim to have approximately 4-6 students per group class. This might be slightly more or slightly less depending on demand.

Parents will pay monthly at the start of the month for that month’s classes. Payments can be made in any currency. Alipay, WeChat, Mastercard and Visa are all accepted.

Each month’s fees must be pre-paid in advance.

The first month’s payment is taken as a non-refundable deposit.

After the first month, if you wish to cancel pre-paid classes, you will receive a 50% refund of any unused classes.

If a student is sick or unable to attend a single class, no refund will be given. Lessons are recorded for the student’s convenience so they are able to catch up when they are able.

• I recommend Masterclass for any students sitting the October/November 2025 paper. This is because group class starts in September, so I wouldn’t accept any students into group class for just one month.
• Additionally, Masterclass will suit October/November students better as its more intensive style will give more weekly study hours and feedback in a short period of time compared to group class.
• Masterclass is also better for those on a budget, averaging to 25 GBP per lesson compared to 40 GBP per lesson for Group Class students.
• Group Class is better for students sitting their exams in February 2026 or May 2026, as we will have a longer study period spread out over many months. Group Class students are welcome to join my summer Masterclass in May/April 2026 in addition to their regular studies should they wish.
